triumph over tragedy

I did an interview this morning with a musician. He has a form of dystonia (neurological disorder) that prevented him from doing the one thing he does best: play his guitar. His right hand just stopped working. It took years, but he taught himself to play with his left hand and he is playing again, professionally. "In some ways, it's the best thing that ever happened to me," Billy McLaughlin told me. How so, I asked. Billy says the power of his story of how he came to play left-handed has fueled international interest in his music, something he had tried to achieve all his life.
