A Colleague In Need

Hey Team - One of our advocates on the smoke-free casinos project, Becky Taylor of the Lac Court Oreilles (LCO) Ojibwe Reservation, recently experienced a house fire which destroyed her family home. If you don't know Becky, she has a deep passion for teaching Ojibwe youth tribal traditions, including how to avoid drugs and alcohol. She's a jingle dancer who's been a "pow-wow" mom for 27 years and was one of our tobacco storytellers at the Superior Joint Finance hearing.

Steve and I are working on an email to the Wisconsin prevention community offering ways we can support Becky. Here is the draft email and action page, let me know if you have any thoughts. I'll let you know when it goes live.
