Wanted to let you know that based on our work with Prevention Speaks, we have been invited by ICF Macro ( the current contractor in charge of national CPPW TA efforts) to be part of the technical assistance package/application to CDC for CTG grantees. (You had to be a national organization to apply for TA funds).
All the current CPPW TA providers (e.g. Prevention Institute, Legal Center, AHA, etc.) will remain a part of ICF Macro’s national TA network, and now we will be included in this group. Yeah!
The scope of the work and dollar amount is to be negotiated once the final package is negotiated with CDC, but the CPPW Resource Center feels we fill a unique niche and bring added value.

ReplyDeleteWow, this is a really big deal... sounds like it may allow us to scale up with the CTG effort to serve more communities. And by then we may even have an evidence base to know which of our TA is helpful! Way to go team.
