A couple of our awesome obesity prevention partners are profiled in this video... John from DHS is featured, and Alex/Tara from WiPOD and Amy M from DHS are the class leaders. PHS650 is the class I guest lecture in and our very own Sara Moen is taking this semester!
"I believe it's one of the few courses around the U.S. -- to my knowledge -- that specifically addresses obesity prevention," said Dr. Tara LaRowe, an instructor at the UW's School of Medicine and Public Health.
