2012 Prevention Conference Planning

A brainstorming session went on today where we discussed possible themes and ideas for the this year's WI State Prevention Conference. Here is what's happening:

• The Prevention Conference is happening!

• We haven't decided a theme, and aren't sure there will be one
• Place: Kalahari Resort, WI Dells

• Dates: June 11-13, 2012
• We will be sending out a "Save the Date" asap, so if people want to know more about past conferences and themes please refer them to wiclearinghouse.org

• The first day of the conference, June 11, will act as a day for ancillary meetings to take place. This includes (so far) tobacco, obesity, alcohol. We will be talking to more partners to see if they would like to participate in a one day training with a strong topic focus.

• We revisited the purpose statement from the 2011 Prevention Conference and reworked it a bit. We want to make sure everyone is included so please refer to this google doc to see the changes we made to the Purpose Statement. PLEASE EDIT your responses, if any, by the end of the day on Tuesday, January 17th.
