Hey Everybody - Below are the media links that I mentioned at today's staff meeting. It was a really good media week for prevention.

- Governor Walker Statement (e-Update 6/29)
- “The best way to reduce the cost of health care for individuals, businesses and taxpayers for the long term, is to shift our focus from treatment to prevention. This week I announced the re-creation of the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Health. I’ve tasked the appointees on the Council with focusing on ways to help people live healthier lives. Council members bring to the table background on fighting childhood obesity, promoting healthy eating, and encouraging physical activity. I look forward to their policy and program recommendations.”

I'm sure you can tell, but I'm still wrapping my brain around what it means to be interim Communications Coordinator for Transform WI and how I can best be of help to WCH. I've had the awesome privilege of collaborating with many media minds over the years, but have never formally been in this role myself. If any of you have any advice, insights, resources, or needs for this role - please send them on!

Kyle, thanks for collecting these in one place. And for the invitation to contribute if we can.
