Google's URL Shortener: goo.gl

Google has a super-simple URL shortener at goo.gl. I've started using it for sharing links to Google docs. It does the same things as all of the other URL shorteners (like bit.ly), but this one has these advantages:

• It uses your Google account, so you don't need a separate account to keep track of your URLs and traffic stats.
  
• The generated short URLs have the word "goo" in them.

But wait, there's more! If you install the goo.gl lite extension for Firefox, you can just click a button and a goo.gl short URL will be generated and automatically copied to your clipboard. It couldn't be easier. Act now!
